(Genesis 1:1-2) Satan's Rebellion Happened AFTER Day 6

In our last study we talked about the Genesis gap theory, a theory that says millions or billions of years of time occurred between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. According to this theory God created the heavens and the earth in Genesis 1:1 and then sometime later they were destroyed because of Satan’s rebellion. But this theory doesn’t stand the test of scripture. Jesus shut down it down in two verses. Furthermore, we’re going to disprove the gap theory even more by showing that Satan’s first act of rebellion happened sometime AFTER the first week of creation rather than between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. His rebellion occurred sometime after the entire first chapter of Genesis.
