Signs of the Times

After Christ warns us in Matthew Ch.24 about many deceivers who will come in His
name, He proceeds on to give us signs to look for concerning the end times.

6) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled:

for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7) For nation shall

rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,

and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8) All these are the

beginning of sorrows.

We are going to continue hearing of wars and rumors of wars all the way up to the time
of the end. If you are a Christian you need not be troubled or afraid, for all these things
are part of God’s plan. He will protect you as long as you do your part. What do I mean
by that? Well, if you know there are going to be troubles among nations, famines,
pestilences, and earthquakes, then you should prepare yourself and your family for
anyone of these things. You can do so by stocking up on food, water, medical supplies,
and yes, even guns and ammo to protect your family. God helps those who help
themselves.

This verse is a blow to those who preach for “world peace”, everyone from Hollywood
elites to the preacher at your local church. For there will be no lasting peace on earth
without the True Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. And anyone who teaches that there
will, or could be, has been deceived by the false hopes propagated by Satan and his
ministers. Just as Christ pointed out when He said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I
give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you” (John 14:27).

So when you see people vainly trying to build a peaceful world based on “unity in
diversity” or worldwide “redistribution of wealth”, know that it is a lie designed to trick
you into submitting to a tyrannical world government that will rob you of every God
given freedom you once enjoyed.

And what did Christ mean when He said that these are the “beginnings of sorrows”?

Well the Greek word translated as “sorrows” means: labor pains. In other words all
these things mentioned above will begin to happen with the same frequency as of a
woman giving birth to a child. The pains will get closer and closer together with greater
intensity until we come to the end, the birth of a new age. Not a “new age” of world
socialism and humanism under the Antichrist (Revelation 13), but the time when Christ
returns to set up His Millennial Kingdom upon earth.

Beloved, we’ve witnessed some larger birth pains grouped together within a short
period of years. We’ve had the Asian tsunami, hurricane Katrina, the devastating
earthquake in Haiti, the war on terror, and etc.

Are you paying attention? There will be more.

Oh, I know Al Gore and the Global Warming freaks will try and tell you that Climate
Change is responsible for these things. And I have no doubt that when the intensity of
these catastrophes pick up that they will shout out even more that we all need to band
together as “One World” to save the planet.

The minds of people are already being primed for it. Every where you turn your head
you see something about how we must go “green”. You see it all day on your
television, your exposed to it at your workplace, grocery store, gas station, you can’t be
anywhere without being inundated with it. Even many churches are pushing it. And
people follow along with it like it’s a cool fad or something. However it’s not so cool
when you know it is being used to condition the minds of people to believe in a lie. A lie
that is more destructive than many might think.

So be aware of the signs of the times and be a Christian Overcomer!
