Blessed Is He that Readeth

Have you ever heard anyone say, “You don’t need to understand the Book of Revelation,
because you are going to be gone.”?  Shocking isn’t it. And can you believe that I’ve even
heard many Pastors say things like this. And many of them say things like this because they
think they are going to be “Raptured Away” before the events in Revelation come to pass.
Have they never read the opening statement by Jesus for this great book?

He says:

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep
those things which are written therein; for the time is at hand.” –Revelation 1:3

And do they not know that the word “Revelation” means to reveal or make known?

Beloved Christ wants us to understand this book so that we can be prepared for the things that
are coming. And He wants us to have the patience and faith to overcome the tribulation and
persecution of the False Messiah. You see we are not going anywhere; we are going to be
right here on earth doing God’s work by standing and witnessing against the False Messiah
and his One World Political System (Mark 13, Revelation 13).

What an awesome opportunity we have to serve our Heavenly Father!

If there was ever a time when people needed to understand the Book of Revelation, it is NOW.
For the events written therein are coming to pass even at this time as you hear of “Change”
and you see the rise of “Socialism” and “Big Government” around the world.

Stay alert my friend, God has foretold us all things (Mark 13:23).

And you know when people say that you don’t need to understand this Book they put
themselves and others in great danger.

For it is written:

“For I testify unto every man that hearth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any
man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in
this book: And if any man shall take away the words of the book of this prophecy, God
shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book.” –Revelation 22:18-19

Boy I would hate to be one of those Pastors telling their whole congregation that they do not
need to understand the Book of Revelation. For as you can see from this verse that God does
not take it lightly when anyone says stuff like this, because they leave their entire
congregations uninformed and unprepared for the times ahead.

But blessed are you that read and study this great book. For in this Book Christ reveals to us
many things. Including:

•        The chronological order of events of the last days

•        What events to look for just prior to Christ’s return

•        The identity of the Antichrist

•        The mystery of the Great Harlot of Babylon

•        The mystery of the Beast that rises from the sea

•        The mystery concerning the Mark of the Beast

•        The mystery of the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets, and Seven Vials

•        And what the Eternal City of Jerusalem will look like
